An Alternative To Squidoo?

As I recently posted, I am looing for an alternative to Squidoo. It is a difficult task, because frankly, Squidoo is tough to beat. I do not want to replace Squidoo, I want to find a site that I can use along with Squidoo to:

* Drive Traffic To My Website
* Give Links to my Website
* Bring Income

Squidoo is the best thing I have found for all of those things, but I am still looking for a good alternative. Today, I discovered WorldVillage and I wrote an article about how to select adult footed pajamas.

So far, I like what I see. It was easy to sign up for, it was easy to post my article and my article was live immediately, without a review process. So far so good. I will be watching to see if World Village will generate any traffic for my footed pajamas website or any significant income. I will be post what I discover soon.

    Oops - got in a tangle with the last comment!!

    This does look interesting, and any new site is worth checking out. But I think there's a few sites that will do just what you are looking for - the main thing I believe is to establish a Link Wheel that includes all the sites that are either good for you or for the topic or both.

    I'll be interested to see how it goes for you.

    Thanks for your comments. Actually, on the weekend I did a more detailed review of my experiences with various different sites including Hubpages, Infobarrel, Helium and many others. Briefly, nothing is coming close to Squidoo, but I am always hopeful. We will see how World Village goes. I will report back in a couple of weeks on it.

    I do have something else very interesting to report and I will be blogging about that very soon, so stay tuned for more!

    If anyone has tips about Good sites for backlinks, traffic and income, please make a suggestions and I will check it out.
